I am a clean cut, well educated, goal oriented father of five beautiful children. I am the kind of person that can deal with anything no matter how serious, yet still know how to just relax and enjoy life. I live my life to better not only myself, but those around me. I look at every moment, and ask myself, what I can do for to help others achieve what I have done.
A Little about Me:
My primary career is Senior Software Engineer; however I am a man of many talents. Besides for writing software I am also a gourmet chef and own a small gourmet food company which sells many products online as well as I do a lot of catering. Until about four years ago, I was also a professional photographer, selling images literally around the world.
My Background:
I started programming computers in 1986 when I was just 8 years old. When I was nine years old, I started working for my parent’s disaster restoration company, at first with small tasks like cleaning soot off dressers that were in fires, or vacuuming floors. Eventually by the time I was 16; I was managing a crew for them, and helping to rebuild people’s homes. This gave the wonderful skill of knowing how to build a home from the ground up. When I was 12, the dry cleaning company that my parents contract with to do the cleaning of fire damaged clothes needed a new point of sale computer system. My parents convinced the owner, a friend of theirs to allow me to write the software for him. That was my first commercial software application.
From there I continued to work both as a programmer and a supervisor for my parents company. I graduated high school at the ripe old age of 14, and followed that by attending college to study computer science and business management. After I turned 18 I got a job as a traveling software consultant with a company for 6 years. I saw the country, worked for the likes of Microsoft and Oracle, until finally settling down.
